How to Use Fragrance at Your Wedding

Ladies and gentlemen, cue the wedding bells! Event season is upon us: a time filled with joyful moments, lots of to-dos, and special details. Whether you’re in full on planning mode or daydreaming about your must-haves for the big day, fragrance is a sensory element that can help capture your memories. We asked Kelly, our Digital Marketing Sales Manager, to share some fragrance recommendations on how she incorporated fragrance into her big day.

Add a small candle for the hotel to your welcome boxes.

“When choosing a fragrance to include in our wedding welcome boxes, I knew I had to pick my all-time favorite, Clean Crisp White. I love that it’s fresh and clean yet still sophisticated and luxurious. I also felt like it had broad appeal and wouldn’t be too polarizing for guests with differing fragrance preferences. I used Votivo’s Aromatic Votive. The size fits really nicely in a standard size box and is a nice treat for guests to freshen up hotel rooms.”

Make venue bathrooms smell ah-mazing.

“As someone who lives for the little details, I love the special touches you can add to your venue bathroom to be hospitable and make guests feel comfortable. I used a cute tray styled with toiletries – spray deodorant, mouthwash, bobby pins, etc. – and had a Clean Crisp White candle burning.”

“If you are having a beach destination wedding, White Ocean Sands would be perfect. It’s got the breezy ozonic notes of seashore air that your guests will want to bottle up and take home. If your style is more romantic, you can’t go wrong with a beautiful floral like Rush of Rose or Gilded Magnolia.”
